Wow, time flies. I haven't blogged in over a year and that is super crazy to me. I feel like I can remember my last post I did and it does not seem like it was THAT long ago but I guess it was. I don't really have a "reason" as to why I stopped. I guess "life got in the way". I really don't like saying that because that seems more like an excuse rather than a reason. I can say that A LOT has changed in the past year and I'm super excited to get back into blogging and sharing my life and everything else I like to post about! I hope you are too :)
So... A little life update before I really did back into my posts.
I'm a mom of TWO. Yes, you read that right.. TWO! I gave birth to my second daughter in July so now I'm officially a girl mom. It's still so weird to me being able to say "my kidS" or "my GIRLS". I can't believe I have two kids sometimes but every time I'm woken up in the middle of the night, it's a quick reminder ;)
I LOVE being a mom. I ALWAYS wanted to be a mom and I really have the BEST kids (I know every parents says that, but I'm serious). They keep me busy, laughing, smiling, and sometimes crying or yelling (I'm working on it).
I feel very blessed to be a momma to two and it's adventure everyday!
Off of the momma topic now... in the beginning of the year I joined a fabulous company and I get to work with a bunch of different brands which is also part of the reason as to why I wanted to get back into blogging so I can share all of these amazing products with you and my thoughts and experiences with them!
That's my little update! I'm excited to get back into blogging and share my thoughts and experiences with you all!
I remember sitting in my senior seminar class in college and saying "Even when I'm a mom, I will always be out working no matter what". Funny how you can say one thing and then it's the complete opposite in less than a year. That's just the way life works, right.
I graduated college in May 2016 with a full time job starting in June. Little did I know that 3 days after I graduated I would become pregnant. Of course, I didn't know right away and I actually didn't find out until the very end of June. So of course I panicked a little bit when I found out. I literally just graduated college and started my new full time job. HOW WAS I GOING TO TELL MY JOB? - My first thought. Well it all worked out, I continued working until I gave birth and then after I gave birth to my daughter, I still worked but I got to work from home (not a permanent thing). It was great being able to be with my daughter all day everyday and still be able to work, but it was DIFFICULT, like really difficult. When the time started approaching of when I was going to have to actually start going into work, I began to panic. I didn't want to be away from my daughter, and I didn't want to put her in daycare. Well it's funny how things work because I actually ended up leaving the job I was at and starting a different job where I had to go into work EVERYDAY. Luckily, my mom was off from work while looking for a new job so my mom watched her while I was at work (Whew, didn't have to put her in daycare). Well about a month and a half into this job, my mom got a new job. SHIT! That means I would have to put my daughter in daycare which I thought I would be okay with at that point because she was a little older, but I wasn't.
I ended up leaving the job I was at, to stay home with my daughter. Never in a million years did I think I would EVER do that. BUT, it literally has been the best decision I've ever made. Of course I was a little disappointed and had a little regret AT FIRST. I had just left a job I really loved and enjoyed BUT after being home with my daughter for the first day, I knew it was all worth it.
It's so crazy how life works and at one point in your life your saying things you'll never do and then the next moment you're doing the complete opposite. All of this literally happened in a year. I graduated, got pregnant, gave birth, worked from home after birth, left that job for a new job, quit my new job, and then became a stay at home mom. A lot of changes, but they say change is good.
Now, in my title, I stated I'm a Work From Home - Stay At Home Mom and that is true. Before I left the my new job, I was presented with a job opportunity that was strictly work from home and it fit right in with my field so of course I said YES! Luckily, I have a lot of flexibility with this job so I can still enjoy my daughter 110% and never miss a milestone but still be able to work. I've also been able to put a lot of more time into my blog, working and collaborating with other brands, and I've started an etsy shop making headbands and bows for little girls (which you should all go check out ;)).
No one knows what the future brings, and my situation may not always be what it is now but I do know I am very thankful for being able to be home with my daughter everyday and I know not everyone wants that or has the luxury to do that. All MOMS are AMAZING.
I also wanted to touch on the stay at home mom topic. Although it's a luxury and a privilege, and I am forever thankful to be able to do so, it can be tough. A lot of times you don't feel like you have any time to yourself, you're constantly trying to keep your house clean, entertain your child, cook, and in my case WORK. It's hard to balance everything. Also, you sometimes feel like you are losing your identity. I don't wake up and put on a super cute outfit, and do my hair and makeup, or even SHOWER some days. Sure, I guess I could do that but let's be real. I'm waking up to get my daughter breakfast and changing diapers. If I do my makeup it's just going to end up wiped off from my daughter hanging on me all day or all over her clothes. I'm not going to a workplace interacting with people everyday and having adult conversations. I'm having conversations with a toddler (that I do love). But the point is like I said above ALL MOMS ARE AMAZING and we all have our own battles but let's be real, our children are our biggest blessings and we wouldn't change a thing.
Life has a funny way of changing things when you think you have it all planned out.

I love innovative and multiple use products. The Preppin' Smart EZ Pop Jumbo Freezer Tray with Lid from Innobaby is very unique. It's completely flexible and has 6 large compartments that are about 6 oz. This is a very useful product for all moms with little ones at any age and stage in life. The compartment size is a huge plus! For the breastfeeding mom, you can store your breastmilk in here. For the mom that has a baby that just entered the food stage, you can store your purees in here! For the mom that has a toddler, you can store yogurt or mashed fruit/veggies to create little popsicles (add a stick). For the mom with a child, you can create flavored ice cubes for your child's drink! It's truly a product that can be used throughout your little one's entire childhood. One of the best things about this product is that it's a 2 pack and it comes with a lid! I love that it comes with a lid because your basic ice cube tray does not and that can be inconvenient. It's also very slim so you can fit it in your freezer even if you don't have a large one. Since it does have a lid, this can also be used to store snacks for your little one. Throw 6 different snacks in there, put the lid on, and your child has endless snack options. It could also be used to store little toys or items! It's completely BPA Free!

I need to tell y'all about a new product that I am absolutely dying over. It's the Innobaby Packin' Smart Stackable 3 Tier Storage Container. Let me tell you how this product has changed my life and I've been using it every single day since I've received it. It is an all-in-one storage container that has 3 separate compartments for food, formula, really anything! If you're a mom on the go or really any kind of mom, you need this. I hate when I'm leaving the house and I'm getting my daughter's snacks ready and I literally have a million containers with different snacks. It junks up my bag, it makes it heavy, and honestly it's just overall inconvenient. Well with this little guy I am able to bring 3 different snacks but in only one container! But get this, the snacks have their own compartment so no need to mix them all together and you can just twist off whichever one you want at that moment. You can just twist off to be able to pour them out of a hole or you can completely take the top off for more access. I've brought this thing with me everywhere I have gone. I even fill it out for around the house that way my daughter can access her snacks whenever she wants them. But this can also be used for many other things than just snacks. You can use it for formula, pacifiers, hair things, jewelry, little toys, ANYTHING!
It's BPA, phthalate, PVC<, and lead free. It's also top rack dishwasher friendly.
This product has truly been a lifesaver and organizer for me. I'm very happy with it.

As a mom, I'm always looking for ways or things that can be a solution to any new problems I may be encountering. Let's talk about meal time, for example. My daughter has always been a pretty good eater but lately things have taken a turn. She doesn't want her food touching and every time I give her food on a plate or in a bowl, BAM; it's thrown onto the floor. I've found a solution to mine and probably a lot of other mommies problem. The Silicone Suction Divided Plate - Chicken, by Innobaby! My daughter and I are both loving this product already! It has 5 different sections which is amazing because every different food has its' own home. I usually try to give my daughter 4 different kinds of food at a meal so I have more than enough space in case I want to throw something else in there too. I don't have to worry about using another plate/bowl. The spaces are deep enough to fit a yogurt, applesauce, oatmeal, or even cereal. Also the suction base on the bottom stuck to the high chair tray with no problem! There was no way my daughter was getting that off to throw or even move. (she actually didn't even try!) I think she really enjoyed the touch of the plate because the silicone makes it soft, smooth, and a little fun to touch. It's also dishwasher, freezer, microwave, and oven safe (up to 400 degrees). I don't have a dishwasher so of course I hand wash and let me tell you that this was the easiest thing to clean. I let the plate sit for a while after eating (shame on me) and when I tried to wash it, everything came right off with no extra scrubbing. I also accidentally let blueberries sit in there and guess what, no stains! This will definitely be our go to plate for all meals, even will be bringing this with us on the go! The chicken shape and details are so cute and unique. I love that it's plain because sometimes those plates that have a princess or some type of art on it, end up chipping off and getting into the food. It comes in a variety of colors including green, pink, and yellow. I went with the yellow because I was thinking like a mom in that if I have more children, yellow works for both genders!

Let's be real, as a Mom, we don't have time to get all done up all the time. Am I right or am I right? Even if you're not a mom but you're a busy bee and just need comfortable and easy, then this is for you. Most days I don't do any makeup and am in sweats but occasionally when I want to look presentable but not all done up this is my "Mommy Style". My go to is a pair of comfortably, stretchy jeans. I go for distressed jeans because they are a bit more trendy so if looks like I put effort into my outfit when in reality I didn't. Then I pair the jeans with a sweatshirt of some sort. I love this one because it's distressed as well but I also love the crewneck sweatshirts that have a cute graphic or some type of saying on them. I'm so happy sweatshirts are like kind of a cool thing now. Next I put a "cool" jacket over top because it just adds another layer and looking like I put effort into my outfit. I chose this black longline bomber. I LOVE a longline bomber rather than a short one. So far I'm SUPER comfortable but still looking super trendy and stylish. Lastly, I add SNEAKERS, yes SNEAKERS. No boots or heels. The sneakers make the outfit look like street style. It's perfect for a mommy who just doesn't have the time (or let's be real, the energy) to put herself all the way together but still look amazing. Then when it comes to the hair and makeup, I keep it real simple. The hair goes UP because if we're being honest it probably hasn't been washer in a day, or two, or maybe even three. A nice high ponytail and tease, tease, tease it to give it some volume. For makeup, I keep it simple. I can do my foundation, bronzer, and highlighter pretty quickly so I of course have those. But, foundation will just do. Then I'm doing my eyebrows, adding some mascara, and that's it for the eyes. No eyeliner or eyeshadow because that takes time and precision. I like to add a bright lip to pull the outfit and look together. So there's my easy one two three outfit.
