Let's be honest, clothing is the most important part of
going back to school ;) We all want to look good and show how up to date we've been. When you look good, you feel good. These are some of the hottest items trending for back to school.
1. Conversation Tees:
These are great for comfort and style. They are funny and they can easily show your personality. Since these tees are usually non form fitting, they go great with skinny jeans or tucked into a high waist skirt. Throw a flannel over it when it gets a little chilly and you are
2. Cropped Sweater:
It's clear to see that the cropped trend is not going away anytime soon and I am okay with that. But instead of the tanks and tees, how about a cropped sweater. It's a little more sophisticated and fancier for school. It can easily dress up a skirt or a pair of pants. And it's more appropriate for school as well, shows less skin ;)
3. Slim Sweatpants:
So we all have those days where we are feeling lazy and do not feel like getting dressed. So instead of looking like a complete bum with your extra baggy sweat pants and sweat shirt to go with it, try slim fitting sweatpants. They are super cute and yet still super comfy. And it still looks like you tried to get dressed and are a true fashionista. Sweat joggers can definitely take the place of these as well.
4. Mod Mini Skirt:
I'm not a huge fan of mini skirts, but they're coming back. Just like everything does. So be the first to wear this trend, because it's making a come back!
5. Boyfriend Jeans:
The relaxed fit has been in for a while now and it's here to stay. So if you haven't already bought a pair, make sure you do! They're perfect for a tight fitting top and they can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sneakers.
To go with your boyfriend jeans are sneakers! They are big and
not just your typical sneaker, although those are okay. Try to upgrade them to the next level. Sneakers are a great fashion statement, especially for girls. It shows that we can wear them without looking "boyish".
7. Collegiate Sweater:
I know what you're thinking... preppy. But not necessarily. Pair it with something that is a little less preppy. Like leather bottoms or ripped up, loose jeans and a pair of wedged sneakers.
8. Shift Dress:
For those easy days we don't want to put much effort but still look like we put in the effort. Throw a necklace on to jazz it up or a jacket over top and you are good to go.
9. BEARPAW Shoes:
I absolutely love this brand of shoes. Every pair I have is extremely comfortable and super trendy. There is a great amount of color variety and styles. They are a must have for back to school!
